In 2004, Steve was a house painter in Massachusetts. Clients kept paying him to sit down and help them work through their family and business issues instead of painting their walls. His wife finally said, "Honey, you need to get paid to talk with people."

From the basement of a 1904 Victorian farmhouse — armed with only a high school education, ADHD, and a heart for people — Steve launched The Behavioral Resource Group. No business plan. No investors. No credentials on the wall. Just an uncommon ability to see people clearly.

Today Steve has authored 23 books, spoken in 18 countries, and analyzed over 62,000 behavioral profiles. He is a certified professional behavioral analyst and world-class axiologist.

Kohen is the lead trainer for the BRG Certification Academy. With a background in psychology and business, he brings a logical, straightforward analytical style to every module — making complex behavioral science accessible and immediately applicable.
